My first order was perfect. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The delivery person was friendly and polite. I didn’t realize the restaurant was so close; otherwise, I would have ordered from Canton Canton sooner. The mixed hot hors d'oeuvres for two were great value. An absolutely terrible experience. I’ve been ordering takeout from Canton Canton for over 7 years without any issues until today. I placed my usual order as always, and the driver was sent for delivery. Normally, they ask if payment is cash or card, but this time they didn’t, so I assumed they knew I’d be paying by card. Understanding it was a busy Saturday night, I waited patiently. When the order arrived, the driver handed over the food and walked away without asking for payment. I called the restaurant to ask why they hadn’t requested payment, but the person on the phone muttered something and hung up. Assuming she would call back, I continued eating. Then the driver returned, interrupting my meal. I answered the door, ready to pay, but again he expected cash and didn’t have a card terminal. I explained I’ve never paid cash and they usually send a terminal, but he walked away again without taking payment. The restaurant then started calling me repeatedly—10 to 15 times—until I answered. They demanded payment, and I explained I was still eating and would call back. Instead, she yelled at me and accused me of lying about never paying cash, despite me being the one who called them originally to ask why my payment wasn’t processed. Eventually, I paid, but by then my food was cold. What a complete joke! I will never order from this restaurant again. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
