I absolutely love this place! The customer service is the best I've ever experienced at a coffee stand. The staff genuinely engages with customers and remembers their names! They’re always cheerful, even at 5 in the morning! I take pride in supporting a business from my hometown. Food: 5/5 View all feedback.

What Grace B dislikes about Java Junkie:

I pass by this coffee stand almost every morning, and today I decided to give it a try. When I pulled up to the open window, I noticed the girl sitting on the counter, her back to me, chatting with another barista. I waited for about 20 seconds before she finally turned around to acknowledge me, but by then, I had already driven away. I was really disappointed because it's a convenient stop on my way to work, but I w... View all feedback.

As someone new to the area, I decided to check out this place and I’m so glad I did! I was thrilled to discover that they partner with Dillanos, a brand I always look for in my coffee shops. The coffee here was incredibly smooth. I ordered a swirl mocha—though it might be called a twisted mocha; I can't quite recall—but it featured both white and dark chocolate, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly, and I can’t wait to come back again. P.S. The Three Little Coffee Beans garnish is a delightful touch!

I stopped at this place while driving north from Puyallup, and the first thing I noticed was the lack of signage displaying beverage options and prices. Since my drink—a 16 oz latte—is quite standard and prices tend to be similar at most coffee stands, I didn't think much of it. However, my total for a basic latte, with no extra shots, came to $5.25, which is more expensive than Starbucks just a little further down the road. Unfortunately, the drink itself wasn't great either. The next time I'm in the area and craving coffee, I'll definitely head to Starbucks or another place instead. I should have trusted my instincts and avoided a stand with unclear pricing.

Friendly and quick service, coffee piping hot. Breakfast sandwich was yum. Got the bacon egg pepper jack on English muffin. Barista went out of her way to be friendly and conversational while still being quick. Good customer service makes a huge difference when espresso is on every corner, I would go out of my way to visit this stand.

This roadside coffee stand offers hometown charm, quick service, and tasty specialty drinks and breakfast sandwiches—often made with Dillanos beans and served by cheerful, name-remembering staff. Experiences vary: many praise hot, flavorful mochas and friendly service, while others report unclear pricing, rude or inattentive moments, wrong orders, and even possible food-related illness. A convenient pick for commuters and early risers seeking a local stop, but budget-conscious or food-safety–sensitive customers should be cautious.
