The last time I went in, I wanted to buy some l... read more I have been a customer of that gas station for years. I always fill up my gas tank there and purchase live bait. The last time I went in, I wanted to buy some large suckers. In order to get them from the tank, they need to be scooped into a net and then the desired fish need to be hand-picked and transferred to a fishing bucket. I have done this many times and have never seen it done any other way. However, this time, an employee told me that I couldn't touch the fish because it would cause them to die later. I explained that I was only touching the fish I wanted to transfer to the bucket, but he didn't care and told me I couldn't do it that way. When I asked for guidance on how to do it properly, he simply said he didn't know. This rude and inconsiderate behavior left me with two possible scenarios for dealing with this employee: either use common sense and assist your customer by doing it yourself, or provide a small net for customers to use in selecting the desired bait fish from the larger net. There are plenty of other bait shops and gas stations in the area, so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

However, the summer months can be challenging due to the high number of tourists and inflated prices. Additionally, the car wash is frequently out of service.

I th... read more I was testing the fly swatter and the obviously racially motivated woman at the front desk made a comment to not use merchandise if I don’t plan to buy it. I then apologized and proceeded to put the fly swatter back. Then she continued to accuse me of screaming in the back of the store. Unfortunately I’m just a young teenager not even 18 yet and I felt as if I was racially profiled. It’s unfortunate people like that feel like they have power over minorities.
