Wildfire - Eden Prairie
Wildfire
Description
Nestled in Eden Center Mall, Wildfire Grill boasts the charm of a classic 1940s steakhouse, complete with dark leather seating and attentive service. Diners rave about the cottage fries and baked goat cheese appetizer, while some have expressed disappointment with mains like the cedar plank salmon and Porterhouse steak, noting inconsistent quality and high prices. While many enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and dedicated staff, a few guests reported issues with food availability and preparation, contrasting with those who praised perfect prime rib and delicious pork chops. Overall, Wildfire Grill delivers a mixed experience that leaves diners divided yet intrigued.

I recently celebrated a birthday at this restaurant, and it was absolutely wonderful! The fillet medallions were outstanding—truly the best melt-in-your-mouth steak I've ever had. This is exactly how steak should taste! The chopped salad was also fantastic. And let's not forget the flourless chocolate cake—it was divine! I can't recommend it enough!
Service was very slow and inattentive. Many other tables also seemed frustrated with their service. I expect way better service for a $250 meal for four people. Food was decent, but nothing spectacular compared to the million other steakhouses in the Twin Cities (including the chain restaurants), and very pricey. We will NOT be returning.
Porterhouse, $59.95 and petite filet, $46.95 were poor quality. While the filet mignon was thin cut, about 1/2 usual thickness, the NY Strip side of the PH was complete gristle. Never again. Sorry Wildfire.
We ordered the macadamia nut encrusted halibut, and it was divine. We've enjoyed it many times before, and it never disappoints. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they treated us to a warm brownie topped with whipped cream and hot fudge. It was the perfect way to end a lovely meal.
