The Pink Geranium Cafe - Eden

Amazing find! Extremely welcoming and friendly staff, who took the time to talk to us and give our whippet a drink of water and various treats (which she loved! . The food and drinks were really good, and we will certainly be back when we pass through Kirby Stephen again. Wonderful hospitality! Cannot praise highly enough!

My family and I visited the cafe for lunch on our way home from holiday in Teesdale on Friday, just before noon to find every table occupied. We were happy to wait and were even recommended another cafe in the village which we had a look at, but promptly returned to the White Hare to wait. On our return we were offered to share a table with Pat (a regular customer) who was waiting for her friend Jean and dog Betty and boy are we glad we did! We were made to feel so welcome as was our whippet George, our order was taken promptly and the drinks and lovely food soon followed. What makes this cafe stand out is the amount of room around the tables, there being plenty but also the staff, a breath of fresh air. The cafe is so good Pat was there for her second visit of the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and spending time with Pat, Jean and Betty, we sure did share some laughs and stories. So if you’re lucky enough to be offered a table share with these lovely ladies you just make sure you say yes.

We attempted to visit on our first day whilst on Holiday nearby (we tried to get in as a family of 6) knew it was good as so busy so we contacted via Facebook and booked a table for lunchtime later in the week and we returned to say the service, food and drinks was amazing would be an understatement! The food was delicious, we had a variety of items from the menu and all really enjoyed! The latte was delicious and both boys enjoyed their milkshakes! Nothing was too much trouble service was fantastic! Would HIGHLY recommend and we will be back when visiting the area again

Great breakfast and breakfast rolls, good size pot of tea. Friendly and welcoming, have been everyday they were open. Highly recommended
