What Arcrite likes about The Golden Fleece:
This is a very cosy village pub with a friendly atmosphere used a lot by locals. The beer selection is good and they have a simple policy on food, they serve a selection of hot pies with chips or new potatoes and that’s it. So if you want a pie and a pint this is the place for you. View all feedback. What Chris T doesn't like about The Golden Fleece:

read moreA review summary of the village pub mentions a selection of hot pies with chips or new potatoes and an average meal experience. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it popular with locals. While some reviewers found the food and service lackluster, others appreciated the good value for money and selection of real ales. Overall, it seems like a decent spot for a casual pint or a quick meal, especially for those passing through the village or seeking a traditional pub experience.
