We parked nearby and decided to stop in for lunch at this charming restaurant. The interior was very traditional and felt like a step back in time to the early 1900s. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. The quiche and scones were superb. It was a great find and we will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area. View all feedback.
Here it is in penrith if you think it would be a good idea to have a dance. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is not easy for them to prepare themselves.
Nice eating and personal are really friendly I would highly recommend for everyone.

After visiting Center Parcs at Whinfell, we decided to stop for lunch in Penrith and explore the town center. We stumbled upon The Cottage Cafe and were warmly welcomed. The upstairs seating area was charming with its old-fashioned decor and cozy atmosphere. The menu offered a good selection of meals, including options for children. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. We would definitely revisit The Cottage Cafe if we find ourselves in Penrith again.
We visited this restaurant on both mornings during our stay in Penrith. Shirley greeted us warmly and prepared delicious, affordable breakfasts. The restaurant has a charming, historic atmosphere with an upstairs dining area, but be cautious of the stairs. It appeared to be a favorite spot among locals as well. We highly recommend it!
