This was a very pleasant surprise; to find a real quality coffee with excellent service and a distinctive ambience by the entrance to Penrith station. We sat at one of the pretty tables in the sunshine, and enjoyed glancing at “The Life of Johnny Cash”, one of the books and magazines provided for customers. Open every weekday until 1.00 pm; we loved it and will be back for more. View all feedback.
This coffee bar at the front of Penrith train station is a gem! The coffee beans used are five-star, whilst it's great to be able to support a local business. Definitely stop off here before boarding your train!
Definitely the best coffee around! Mike's coffee (from the talented Rinaldo) is delicious, and for me preferring decaf that's a very rare find. Smooth, skilfully made coffee, a very friendly welcome in all weathers and snacks and papers to speed you on your train journey. Commuting has become so much more enjoyable since Mike's van arrived.
If your anything like me and you have to travel from Penrith early in the morning then there is nothing better than starting the trip with a quick chat and coffee with Mike. Not only does he make good coffee, but he plays half decent music and is able to discuss most subjects under the sun with a smile. For that I am always grateful.
A little known gem of a place such a small station but such good coffee, provided by Mike who is always happy to chat and serve his lovely brew. Just what you need on a morning before the train coffee, Mike and his music.
We got to Penrith Station early and had time for a coffee. Outside the station is a Casbah coffee van. Charming barista. Fantastic coffee of Flat Cap Coffee Company standard, a few brownies and newspapers, a table to sit at. Very civilised. Un cafe come se fossimo in Italia.
