Best New York style pizza I've had in VA. Onion rings are a must with a soft drink. They do more than Pizza with Manacoti that will remind you of your Italian grandmother. Cheesesteaks are packed with meat and cheese, you get what you pay for. They don't cut corners here and are super friendly. TVs inside with sport events and plenty of booth seating. Great for family events. View all feedback.
What Cynthia M doesn't like about Elizabeth Pizza:
I cannot believe this pizza is from Elizabeth's! All there is is crust, and it's not even up to normal standards. Very little sauce, a few mushrooms, and almost no sausage. If they don't have inventory to fill the orders they should just tell people. Elizabeth's was my favorite place for pizza, and occasionally other dishes. I am so disappointed. We won't be ordering here again. View all feedback.
Great lunch today! Service is always good and food is even better. I had a small pepperoni calzone and my son had the spaghetti with meatballs. Both dishes came out steaming hot with large portions. Even though they were short staffed, they still delivered! Good job and see you again soon!
More like a 3.5. service was great! limited beer choices. the red oak did not disappoint! and, what's with no coke??? the pizza was okay...sauce lacked flavor, and we doctored with lots of parm and chili red peppers. probably would try another pizzeria before returning.
I love the big crusty subs at Elizabeth 's Pizza. Best in town and the pizza is and has been 'top shelf ', imho, since we moved to NC in '98. The staff are polite and have hustle, waits are never too long (even when they 're busy), and you can still get a mug of good draft beer there for under $4. Oh, and you can phone-in your pick-up pizza order and it will be waiting for you when you arrive. I mention this b/c phone-orders are not taken at every Eden pizza joint. The Elizabeth 's Pizza in Wentworth is equally excellent with all of the same positive characteristics.
Lots of menu items to choose from. Friendly staff, great prices, cozy interior, convenient location. Good pizza, ravioli, salad, Stromboli, and cheesesteak. Family friendly. Beer on tap.
Second worst pizza I've ever had. First was in Columbus, WI at sunshine pizza. We paid 80 dollars for an 1 uncooked flavorless pizza, a salad and a calzone. Dough was bland and uncooked on top and vegetables were raw. Sausage was sliced linked sausage which was gross. Sauce was bland and acidic straight from an aluminum can and no spice. They screwed up our salad by dressing it with Italian and delivering it with ranch. My sons calzone was bland and both it and the pizza were scarce with meat. For the price I feel robbed. Will not visit again.
