The fish dish - very small fillet, too salty, too greasy, the white aspargus with pancakes - very disappointed, the pancake could have used more eggs, very dens... read more The fish dish - very small fillet, too salty, too greasy, the white aspargus with pancakes - very disappointed, the pancake could have used more eggs, very dense and doughy and the aspargus was not peeled properly, not only a few pieces but 95% of them. not edible. i mentioned it to the waitress that the meal was disappointin; however no apology.upon walking to the front to pay i noticed that the cook/owner came out of the kitchen, taking off his apron, he looked at us, turned around and went back into the kitchen. Very arrogant attitudei guess with the attitude - oh, i don't know them, probably tourists, they won't be back anyways. Little does he know that I am a local ( although not living there anymore )and my sister had quite a few big family celebrations in that restaurant. well, dear chef/owner - guess what - word of mouth does spread. Too bad, was really looking forward to a nice meal with white aspargus.

It is, apparently, the oldest in Eberbach.The menu includes plenty of choices for a variety of diets including vegetarians. Despite there being only one member of staff waiting on tables, service is quick, relaxed and friendly. The wine list includes several local choices by the glass or by the bottle. There's also a decent beer selection and plenty of choice of digestifs. Prices are low, notwithstanding the high quality of the offer.There are several nice places to eat in Eberbach but it is really hard to ignore this place!
