we stayed in september 2013 for overnight in the Vorderkaisenfeldenhütte. eating was very good and in the evening it was incredibly cozy. we were even allowed to dry our wet clothes on the tile stove. my wife had birthday and the owners have baked her a birthday cake (only for her). with so much hospitable you are really speechless! we often think of our stay back and thank the whole crew for the great time in the Ka... What Isabell Kovacek doesn't like about Vorderkaiserfelden:
we were the first time in the hut. because we live in the corner we also like to walk and make the one or the other return swing in the alpine pasture. The location of the hut is very beautiful, the eating is enjoyable but nothing special. Although not much was going on on a Sunday afternoon, we had to wait half an hour for the drinks and each of us got the food individually. that's very uncomfortable. when you go to... I had an overnight stay on the hut, here a short conclusion: The dinner (scarved) was plentiful and good, only the salat leaves could be somewhat smaller. the overnight stay was quiet and relaxing and the breakfast buffet was great (but too much for me and also costly at 10€).The service is friendly, the hutkeeper as well as very reserved and therefore little cabin atmosphere!
The hut is very beautifully situated with great view in the inntal and on the wild imperial. very friendly staff, good eating (I had the brotzeitbrettl) and erdinger beer. with nice weather very recommended, 1.5 hours from kufstein on a easy to walk away, a bit steep in some passages.

Although not much was going on on a Sunday afternoon, we had to wait half an hour for the drinks and each of us got the food individually. that's very uncomfortable. when you go to a hut you can expect in the service even local, which is unfortunately no longer here. the waiter spoke only broken German. If you want to save here, you should switch to self-service like other huts. there were no other castors praised by other reviews. to ask why there was no answer! pity we find in the opposite there are better huts,
The position is fantastic, the imperial marrini too. the beer is good and eating self-made and delicious. we did not want to go away! highly recommended!
I have eaten here at 1384 m, after a strenuous mountain tour, spinach cams with whipped butter and parmesan. the spinach cams were much too soft and wabbelig. with the butter, that was not a real pleasure. the price, with almost 10 eur, is quite happy for 3 spinat cams, even if these were very decorative on the teller. The staff is very friendly and helpful. filling bottles with juice choir (with water) etc. is done friendly and it was of course only the juice calculated.
