What DTRT 11 doesn't like about La Boule De Neige:
The total absence of competition means that the waiter can afford to treat clients with complete disdain. My wife made the mistake of moving a chair to sit by some friends (having first waited a good 5 minutes to try to ask the waiter). When he finally did arrive it was only to rudely shout at her (in front of the shocked children) for daring to touch the furniture supposedly for Covid related reasons. He then depart... We stayed in Gourette while walking the GR10 and were lucky that someone had recommended the BDN. On arrival we had a warm reception from the waitress and barman. The proprietor was helpful and charming. Our room with balcony was comfortable and well furnished. We very much enjoyed our dinner of regional specialities.
