We stayed in Gourette while walking the GR10 and were lucky that someone had recommended the BDN. On arrival we had a warm reception from the waitress and barman. The total absence of competition means that the waiter can afford to treat customers with total contempt. My wife made the mistake of moving a chair to sit by some friends (whether I first waited a good 5 minutes to ask the waiter).
