I came here last night to take my friend out for her birthday. I absolutely loved everything. For appetizers, we had the squash and also ordered the brie. Both were delicious. The pot roast and the gnocchi were amazing entrees. The drinks were fantastic. The staff is beyond amazing. For my first time going here, I was very impressed and look forward to trying it again. What Derek Wold doesn't like about The Good Wives:
Waited for an hour and a half only to be told our food order was never submitted. Service was non existent. Drinks were meh, fortunately they were comped as they weren't worth the price. I'm usually pretty understanding of mistakes, but the service I noticed was almost neglect. Tables around were hardly being tended to. We weren't checked in on once during our wait. Don’t keep this place a secret. Best waffle I’ve had—the sauce is outstanding. Or get the chicken and waffles if you must.
Overall great! My gripes about the atmosphere are strip-mall-ish atmosphere and I was there on a colder day and it was cold in the restaurant.
Unique and well thought out menu options. I’ve been here several times now and each time I’ve left very full and happy about it. If you haven’t already tried this place, you really should.
This place will be a regular stop. The Bloody Mary is excellent.
I liked the sophisticated menu options! Good food quality. Loved the atmosphere and the waiter was friendly.beet salad way my fave!
