Galloway Grille - Eau Claire

It was 3:00 when we found an open place on Monday. Only to give if we noticed this tiny restaurant with an open sign on the walkway. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Admittedly, we were the only ones with an apprentice who served the bar and an apprentice took my order. You did an excellent job. And the FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR!!! Vegetarian daughter ordered the grilled cheese w/o bacon and it was huge. I ordered a cook salad that had the right amount of meat and cheese. YUM! I have to try my first fried pickles. Okay, but not my taste. Our bill was less than $30 drinks from the bar. Mr President.

Finally, this place tried and was not disappointed. The Clam-Chowder was epic. Service was great. The atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely be back for more.

The staff was incredible. The food was delicois!!! the knowledge of the area and the local breweries was perfect. We had a nice walk over the river bridge and found local breweries and went back to our hotel. Would be safe again!

Hidden gem. Such great food and service. **** Mary’s are wonderful, don’t often find them with pickle juice which is how I like them Bourbon old fashioned had muddled cherries and oranges and was delicious. Moms Rueben was great, fries were crunchy as she ordered them. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap which is always good and they happily substituted the grilled chicken for tenders. Mom said it was the best Rueben she has ever had. Bummer we weren’t here for breakfast as they had a portabella Benedict special that looked awesome.
