The atmosphere at the café is fantastic, and I really love the overall design. My favorite spot is right by the window, where I can watch the airplanes take off and land – it’s such a cool view. The food and coffee are pretty good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I've visited this restaurant a few times, and overall, the food and atmosphere are good. However, I feel compelled to leave a lower rating because of the rude waiter I encountered today. This might seem unfair to the restaurant and his colleagues, but I believe it's important to address his behavior. I arrived around 3:30 PM, which isn't a particularly busy time. As I was reading the menu at the counter, he approached me and greeted me with a silent glare. During my ordering process, he spoke extremely quickly with a negative demeanor, as if he wanted to rush me out the door. He didn't even ask if I needed a receipt—I had to ask for it before he abruptly dismissed me. It was a very disappointing experience. In summary, the food is good, the atmosphere is nice, the prices are a bit high, but the service is lacking due to the unfriendly staff.
The atmosphere is fantastic! It has a classic old-world charm that I absolutely loved. The leather armchairs, chesterfield sofas, cozy booths, and marble accents create a beautiful setting. I only tried the cake, which was quite pricey at $8.50! While it was nice, it didn’t really live up to that price tag. Definitely too expensive.
The staff are friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere, making it a great addition to Darwin Airport. The espresso is decent and gets the job done.
The atmosphere is fantastic! It has a wonderfully old-world charm that I absolutely love! With elements like leather, grandfather clocks, rustic decor, and marble accents, it's truly beautiful. I only had a slice of cake, which was priced at $8.50. While it was nice, I didn't feel it was worth that price; it seemed a bit too expensive.
The ambiance of the café is fantastic, and I really enjoy the overall aesthetic. My favorite spot is right by the window, where I can watch the planes coming and going—it's quite an experience. The food and coffee are pretty good, but unfortunately, the service and attitude of the waitstaff leave much to be desired. I waited at least 15 minutes for a takeaway smoothie, and when I inquired about it, I was told, "just making it now," even though I had placed my order a long time ago. It seemed like several staff members were not very busy, and the line wasn't long, so they definitely had the time to prepare my order. Overall, it's a decent place; they just need to improve their attitude, be more courteous, and work a bit faster.
