Nothing can go wrong at this venue. Fun, local vibe. Friendly staff. Lomo de Puerco and Pollo al carbon is our usual go to and their mesquite spice is to die for! And chips are always served warm. I enjoy eating out in their lovely courtyard in the summer time as the indoor seatings can get really cozy. They are almost always busy throughout the year and reservations are highly recommended. What John Hayes doesn't like about Mijitas Mexican Kitchen:
Abysmal portion size for the price of the entree (pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes). Service was somewhat slow and the server was not very attentive to the fact that we kept running out of drinks (both water and beers). The portion size on the tacos is much larger order those if you go here. The food itself, what little was there, was delicious. Benches outside were unpadded and uncomfortable. View all feedback.

This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The Chile Verde and Carnitas were so tender and flavorful it was insane. Dietary restrictions: The labels and descriptions were very clear.
Made a reservation but had to wait for additional 30 min and still didn't get a table. Not even an update. Poor service and unwelcoming experience with the host
This place is definitely a vibe. Crab is enchiladas are a must. Major island vibes felt like family when I was eating. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Touch of salt on the guacamole and alittle more acid lemon or lime imp, but all around 100% Solid ?
Had the enchiladas and the portion was very small. Came hungry, left hungry.
