$30 for a dozen fruit and custard filled paczkis. I'm thrilled I splurged for a dozen instead of half a dozen because the kids had a snow day the next day so we loved the leftovers for breakfast.
What Lee Steinkopf doesn't like about East Detroit Bakery:
normally good but i wont be back any time soon… i saw and pulled out a long hair that was in, like baked-into, my friends half-eaten dessert. he has OCD so i’m glad i found it and not him because he would’ve had a panic attack. hopefully they wear hair nets next time and/or this was just a fluke. I won't go anywhere else for birthday cakes or special desserts! You made my children birthday cakes and my whole family now quite!! And let me tell you they don't disappoint!! The staff is wonderful and great for my little children!! I highly recommend them!!
This place was found during the search for paczki for Paczki Day. You make Killer authentic pazckis!!!! Since then, I have bought other products from them and everything is very high quality. Their cakes and deserts are delicious and their breads are my favorites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. I strongly recommend this bakery.
The best onion rolls in the world. We're going from 23 and Jefferson to get her. Never, ever, had some of them that wasn't great.

I loved working with East Detroit Bakery! They made my wedding cake and it was perfect! I got so many compliments on how pretty It was and that it was the best wedding cake they’ve had!
