Scossa, located in Easton, MD, offers a delightful dining experience with a diverse menu of Italian cuisine. While some diners had mixed experiences, with one mentioning a disappointing rockfish special and another criticizing the quality of the steak and mushroom soup, others praised the restaurant for its exceptional food and service. The calamari, risotto, and shrimp dishes were highlighted as particularly delicious. The restaurant's ambiance was noted as vibrant and welcoming, with a great wine selection to complement the meals. Overall, Scossa seems to be a popular choice for those seeking authentic Italian flavors and a memorable dining experience.

We have dinner at Scossa almost every time we're passing through Easton visiting family. It never disappoints! Service is impeccable, the food and drinks are yummy, and the location right in downtown Easton, across from the courthouse couldn't be better. I'm vegetarian, and I particularly appreciate all the veggie options they offer (my favorite is whatever pasta they're offering with gorgonzola sauce). Great salads, too.

Scossa is the best restaurant in Easton, and no visit to the town is complete without dinner at Scossa. The service is attentive without being obtrusive. There are always interesting specials, along with long time favorites. The drinks are good-sized, and the wine list is extensive. The food is well prepared, and the portions are not overwhelming. The restaurant is often full, but the noise level is subdued. There is outdoor seating, but I’ve always dined inside. The prices are very reasonable compared to city prices.

Had dinner at Scossa last night for the third time and have to say it is one of my favorite restaurants in all of MD. The menu, service, food, cocktails, wines and ambiance are all top notch. Sitting on the patio in nice weather with a view of thehistoric Talbot County courthouse is amazing. Highly recommend making a reservation on weekends. ????

I’ve never left a bad review for a restaurant, but I guess there’s a first for everything. Growing up my stepfather owned an Italian restaurant and I understand how difficult the business can be but this experience was awful. Three of the four of usordered the chicken parm (a good litmus test for any Italian restaurant) the chicken was so tough and freezer burnt itcouldn’t be cut with the butter knife provided. We ate the small portion of pasta and left the chicken on the plate as I wouldnever ask for a free meal or replacement. I did however assume the waitress would ask what was wrong so we could at minimum givesome feedback… nope I was wrong nothing “boxes or check”. Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I askedthe first person I could find to speak with a manager she politely said she would go find her. I waited for a few minutes onlyto have the same person come back and say “the manager said I can help you with whatever you need”. Clearly from managementto the cooks no one cares about quality or service there right now. The place has a great atmosphere and nice location foranyone traveling the Eastern Shore but someone needs to step in and care to correct the course.
