The menu, service, food, cocktails, wines... read more Had dinner at Scossa last night for the third time and have to say it is one of my favorite restaurants in all of MD. The menu, service, food, cocktails, wines and ambiance are all top notch. Sitting on the patio in nice weather with a view of thehistoric Talbot County courthouse is amazing. Highly recommend making a reservation on weekends. ????

Growing up my stepfather owned an Italian restaurant and I understand how difficult the business can be but this experience was awful. Three of the four of usordered the chicken parm (a good litmus test for any Italian restaurant) the chicken was so tough and freezer burnt itcouldn’t be cut with the butter knife provided. We ate the small portion of pasta and left the chicken on the plate as I wouldnever ask for a free meal or replacement. I did however assume the waitress would ask what was wrong so we could at minimum givesome feedback… nope I was wrong nothing “boxes or check”. Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I askedthe first person I could find to speak with a manager she politely said she would go find her. I waited for a few minutes onlyto have the same person come back and say “the manager said I can help you with whatever you need”. Clearly from managementto the cooks no one cares about quality or service there right now. The place has a great atmosphere and nice location foranyone traveling the Eastern Shore but someone needs to step in and care to correct the course.
