We had an incredible Easter brunch at this restaurant in Easton during our first visit. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding! I definitely plan on returning in the future. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Wardroom:
a delicious dinner in a beautiful room. service was excellent. it is a small space, so it was a little hard to talk to a somewhat loud person who sits so close to us, but still a wonderful experience. will go to dinner again. View all feedback.
This epicurean market is stunning, but eating and the experience we enjoyed eating in wardroom was heavenly. the filet mignon was the best I ever had in my whole life. this jewel of a place is one that they simply do not find often in the world. I'm so glad I found it.
WE LOVE THE WARDROOM! Friendly and thoughtful staff welcome you to this combined winebar/specialty store. The place is beautifully designed and cozy for dine-in and convenient for take out! Pastas and the Brunch are our favorite menu items. If you time it right at closing, they may even throw in some leftover sourdough on your way out the door...
I am giving two stars because they have amazing pastries and our first experience was great otherwise I would give zero stars. My mother and her friend were in from out of town so I wanted to treat them to brunch here before they headed back home. They love eggs benedict, which I had my first visit here and enjoyed. I ordered for us and there was a small mishap with the employee entering the wrong gift card amount I had but no big deal, I caught it and it was fixed. A good bit of time went by without us receiving our coffee, so I got up and asked one of the employees. She said she didn't receive our coffee order but then shortly after brought us our coffee. Then nearly 40 minutes went by and we had not received our food. My mom got up this time to ask if it was coming out soon and an employee said it was coming right up. About five minutes later our egg benedict orders came out and I quickly noticed there was no ham on any of our orders. My mom got up again, being a little embarrassed we have had to get up and ask for help so many times, to ask why there was no ham? A different employee said she would get that for us and moments later brought out a small plate of ham. There were not even enough pieces of ham to go around and only half of our eggs benedict had ham on them. Then none of our orders were cooked. The egg white was very runny and it basically could've been a raw egg. Nobody came by to check on us after our food was delivered and at that point we were over getting up to ask an employee for anything. I ate a little more than half before I couldn't finish it. No one at our table finished their plate and we all felt nauseous from the nearly raw egg we were served. I'm thankful I used mostly a gift card to pay but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the experience. I talked it up all weekend to my mom based on my first experience but after this last visit I do not see us returning.
A California winery suggested this place should have their wine. I called to confirm, but the person could not tell me if they had it. They don't know their inventory OK... Someone would call me back, they promised. Never happened. So we decided to go there for dinner Saturday night and also pick up the wine if they had it. It is a one hour drive there from our home. When we arrived at 7 pm they refused to seat us for dinner because they were hosting a private event. If you are not going to be open to the public, you need to inform the public in advance. There was no indication on their website. We tried, but it is not possible to do business with this company. Wish you better luck, but it is risky. We will not take chances here again.Follow-up: Thank you for your nice reply to this review. OK, we will give it another try when we are in the area, but no need to comp the meal. The gesture is sufficient.
Top shelf. the Coffee and treats are NYC worthy. the Nice Farms milk makes the Coffee pop. shame on Rise Up for letting Nice Farms escape
