The only concern I have about Pops is the dust that has built up on the metal supports overhead. Aside from that, the burgers are truly the best I've ever tasted—no exaggeration. The homemade fries are absolutely incredible, and the fish sandwich is fantastic. The steak sandwich with Peter Luger sauce ranks among the best I’ve ever had. I've also enjoyed an Italian sandwich with balsamic dressing, which was wonderful... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pop's Kitchen And Taproom:
I get making a profit, it's a business. But $37.00 for two sandwiches and one French fry for $37.00 is utterly ridiculous. Unfortunately that will be our last Pops kitchen order. It's good but not that Good Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, but unfortunately, there's a serious issue with racism. They appear to screen calls based on caller ID, and if a name suggests African American descent, they won't answer. I witnessed this firsthand while standing outside; when I called, they picked up on the first ring but my fiancé wasn't able to get through. When I went inside to ask why they were behaving this way, the woman just rolled her eyes. It's truly disheartening. Food: 5/5.

The older woman behind the counter was fairly rude. Upon telling her I was here for a pick up she cut-off my sentence, rolled her eyes, says ok, and gestures toward the long line of people waiting to order. I know they weren't picking up because I had asked them before approaching the counter. I finished my sentence, telling her I just wasn't sure how they operated. Mind you, I could see my order on the heat chute when I entered. I have no problem waiting in line for my pick up, though I do think you should warn your customers that they'll have to wait in a 10 minute line when they call ahead. Most people calling ahead need to avoid the line, but that's beside the point. Treating your customers rudely for asking a simple question is no way to run a business. If you don't want your customers asking whether they should wait in line for a pick up or not you should probably post a sign or tell them on the call. All-in-all, I was disappointed in the service to say the least and my food was lukewarm and soggy by the time I received it.
