This little place is a real gem. It's located in an old reclaimed factory which is really swanky and right at the bottom of College Hill in Easton. Food is ordered cafeteria style and delivered to your table. The food itself is really good as are the milkshakes (according to my daughter). Really neat place to hang out and catch up with friends over a good meal. View all feedback.
What Thomas Reiche doesn't like about Don Juan Mex Grill (n. 3rd St):
I've ordered from here a lot. This time my Cuban wasn't even pressed, I opened the container and thought I ordered a sub. The pickles were cut almost a quarter inch thick and the overall sandwich was just soggy and unappetizing. The bowl I received was very dry and lacking flavor. The sautéed veggies were barely sautéed and cut very thick, also lots of end pieces. I will give them another chance, but if this is how t... View all feedback.
This charming spot is truly a hidden gem. Housed in a beautifully renovated factory at the base of College Hill in Easton, the atmosphere is quite stylish. You order your food cafeteria-style, and it’s brought to your table. The dishes are excellent, and my daughter raves about the milkshakes. It's a fantastic venue to relax and catch up with friends while enjoying a delicious meal.
The food was incredible! Authentic tacos can be found here! I absolutely loved it!
The Grub Hub driver picked up my order along with several others, and it took him over half an hour to deliver it to me, making multiple stops along the way. By the time it arrived, our food was stone cold. It's quite difficult to reheat Mexican food, especially with fresh produce and avocados included. I don't think I'll order Mexican again, and I'm not sure I'll use Grub Hub in the future.
Clean and AC conditioned space. Service is kind and fast. The burrito bowl was worth it. We tried carnitas which were delicious. It's not authentic Mexican food as other people pointed out, but better than Taco Bell or Qdoba. The tres leches on the other hand is not worth having here, it's not moist enough even though the cake was floating. Still, I won't take a star for one dish since the rest was so nice.
Always a great experience friendly kind clean and great
