A seafood-forward, inventive menu—oyster platters, shrimp scampi, duck poutine and a show-stopping bone-in ribeye—pairs with craft cocktails, a notable wine list and standout Snowy Owl coffee. Exceptional food paired with impeccable service! I had a fantastic time at Brine celebrating the holidays with great friends on a Thursday night, and to our delight, it was Oyster Buck A Suck Thursday! The platter of oysters we received was incredibly fresh, tasting as if they had just been pulled from the ocean minutes before being served. They always feature a unique selection of cocktails, making it difficult to choose. The Caswell wine menu is one of the best in Boston, showcasing some truly interesting bottles. Although I typically gravitate toward their seafood, I decided to try the 16oz Bone-in Prime Ribeye, and it was absolutely amazing! It was accompanied by squash puree, homemade ricotta gnocchi, and a pomegranate demi-glace. Even lunch the next day was impressive! I can’t wait to return!
Decided to try it for breakfast. SO YUMMY!!! Kudos to Zia! And our server Jill was amazing! Peeked at the dinner menu- we will be back!!!
Tried Brine for breakfast this morning and definitely found a new favorite! We got the huevos rancheros, corn beef hash, and home made blueberry pop tart. Absolutely delicious all around!
Finally got a chance to try out Brine. The ambiance of this place is outstanding although I would say try to get a spot on the left side as there are windows on the right that look into the adjoining restaurant. That being said, the food and service were both superb and did not disappoint. The peanut wings were a great blend of sweet and spicy that didn't overwhelm either sense, and garnished to give a fantastic crunch. The hake was cooked perfectly, and was fresh. The steak also was cooked exactly to order. I really liked the unique french fries. They were very thin and flavorful, so much so I didn't use ketchup. There is a great drink menu here and I would like to come back to sit at the bar some day to try a few of their cape cod themed takes on classics like sangria and margaritas. I will be back here for sure.
