landing in the early evening in the drive program and about 2 degrees! many parking places, £7.50 for 100 balls. the balls were quite new and matte were not too bad, I had to move bay because the light didn't work. View all feedback.
What Roam783814 doesn't like about The Lottbridge Golf Club:
I visited this restaurant the other day after playing 9 holes. The course was nice and simple, but I was disappointed with the service in the bar/restaurant. The girl serving us seemed miserable and lacked any customer service skills. She didn't smile when taking our drink orders or thank us when we paid. When I took the milk jug to our table, she snatched it back. Overall, her bad attitude made for a shocking servic... View all feedback.
This is a beautiful golf course. Carefully crafted holes and fantastic greens. It's like playing in a painting. Friendly pro shop Great staff in the clubhouse. A gem.
Excellent full English breakfast, two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, grilled tomatoe, hash brown, beans, mushrooms, toast and tea, all for £8.50. Well stuffed. Available all day
Location: Easy to find, lots of parking and very easy course to walk. Facilities: Well equipped driving range, Putting green, Chipping green, practice bunker. Lovely restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food is well portioned and reasonably priced. Course: Fairways were well kept but unfortunately the greens looked like the battle of Verdun with the amount of creators present on them. Only played the once so unsure if this is a regular issue or not. Lots of water features offer a nice challenge for what feels like a short simple course at times. Overall this is a course for the mid/high handicapper as a way o boost your confidence in the game and the friendly staff and welcoming bar/restaurant area giving you a perfect rest between rounds.
The golf course is a hidden gem, beautifully maintained and offering a challenging experience despite the absence of par 5s. The restaurant serves filling, high-quality food that is worth a visit even for non-golfers. The cuisine is not fancy, but rather traditional and well-prepared. The range of cooked breakfast options is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for money.
Having contacted the club we knew there were no tee times so we visited on a sunday morning knowing the course would be busy. There was a queue on the first tee so we had breakfast baps/baguettes which were excellent. We thought £13 a fair price but maybe offer juniors a discount ? You want them to come back. Course was in good nick and very tricky in places. Could do with better signage to assist first time visitors. Thoroughly enjoyable round, thank you very much.
