The staff were friendly and the snacks were delicious. Somewhat limited offerings, though it is just a wee place. We bought some scones to take away, as well as our croissant snacks. Coffee was good, too! View all feedback.
An aspiring cafe, much better that what you would normally expect from a park-setting, located in Gildredge Park. Cream Tea and fresh cakes, garnished with fruit, makes the experience more up-market than your average park-based cafe. Pleasant service, a loyalty card scheme and a wide range of available beverages makes the Gingerbread Kitchen a definite hit for me. And it’s dog friendly too, which is always an added bonus!
On a recent visit to Gildredge park I visited the gingerbread kitchen and was completely overwhelmed with the fantastic customer service and quality of food. This is my first visit to Eastbourne and myself and my wife have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. So much to see and do and the locals are all very friendly. A hidden gem and extremely helpful when I had hurt my back thank you
The staff at this restaurant are welcoming and attentive to their customers. They serve good coffee and light snacks at a reasonable price. You can sit outside and enjoy a drink while watching the children play. The toilets are clean as well.
