I occasionally visit this restaurant for good, straightforward food in a cozy atmosphere. The views overlooking the South Downs are beautiful, so I recommend requesting a table near the window for the best experience. I was disappointed when I arrived and my reservation made through OpenTable was not acknowledged, but thankfully I arrived early at 12pm and was able to choose a table. The staff is excellent, the chef is top-notch, and the meal is worth every penny. It's definitely worth the trip.
The service at this restaurant is always great, and I love the beautiful location and view. The portions are large, but the meat is often overcooked and the overall quality is only average. However, the location and delicious desserts make it worth a visit.
Despite very busy time our pre booked table was ready, service was prompt and helpful and we all 6 enjoyed our different meals
The place is very good viewing. But the main food came very late so it was quite cold. And the tasty wasn't so good. And waitress wasn't so friendly at all.
Excellent staff,top class chef,value for money. Well worth the drive
