What phoenix williams doesn't like about Sharnfold Farm:
We will never come back to sharnfold farm. It was a terrible experience and £36 for four people to walk around a field and an additional £5 each to do pumpkin carving. We ordered food and it took more than 45 minutes to come I’m still waiting. Also that food also cost an additional £20 we ordered a bacon a cheese pastry and they gave it to us on a peice of paper unbelievable 1star because I can’t put no stars. Rooms:... View all feedback.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! DANGEROUS! An absolute disaster from the moment you drive in the car park, zero signs on which way to go. We went firstly to the entrance got greeted by no one , had to ask for help, scanned our pass only guidance we got was when I asked ‘Where do we go?’ I got told ‘Just walk out the back door’ through a plethora of stands, tables eating area. Walked out the back door absolutely no signage and no idea where to go . First stop on our ‘Fangtastic Halloween Trail’ was a water logged park Childs park. Then on to what can only be described as a ‘Friday Afternoon’ attempt at decorating a field horrendous effort. Then trenched through a soggy path to a Goat field with about 2 Goats in Also waterlogged ‘I had to carry my 6 year old at that point for fear of her tripping and drowning. I don’t think I’ve ever said ‘which way do we go?’ More times in my life . Got lost throughout continually , with the ‘Map’ as much use as a chocolate teapot. Finishing up in a sloppy field , total of 3 Llamas, 2 pigs and a couple of Goats seen from a distance. I appreciate the weather isn’t great atm but if you’re going to rake it in from customers looking to treat their kids to a ‘Fangtastic’ time , maybe you could invest in some signs and gravel at a bare minimum? Lastly one sign for the ‘Maize MaZe’ we just so happened to stumble acrosswhich leads you into a field of nothing , walked around for 15 mins ended up in a dead strawberry allotment , luckily we know what Maize looks like as adults as if not you may want to consider looking for your child on a missing poster on your local lamppost . The Maize Maze was about as great as the rest of the experience , in fact two steps in we decided to turn around and go home . Avoid at all costs , will never return. Safety: Awful Walkability: Treacherous
Not sure what's happened to this place. Used to be a lovely day out, full of animals, fresh food such as quiche and salads in the cafe. Fresh food has been replaced with chicken nuggets, chips and sandwiches etc. Barely any animals to be seen.. you have to pay to get in.. which I wouldn't mind if there were some animals?!?! You even have to pay for your children to play in their park..The whole essence of this lovely farm has changed. A rip off of a day out with poor attractions and lack of family feel.
Very sad that we possibly won’t visit Sharnfold again. No gluten free cakes available, (There used to be a good selection for a coeliac, and then to be served our cakes in a paper bag (we were eating in the café wasn’t how we had been served before. Customers purchasing breakfasts were eating out of cardboard boxes with wooden knives and forks. Very sad indeed.
I'm all for supporting local farms but spending £10 on the tiniest jar of honey is daylight robbery. Other farms sell it for much less so you can't even argue it costs this much to take care of the bees. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
