What I4726OZpauld doesn't like about La Grange:
French cuisine kosher is not kosher in the Jewish term, but if someone told me that this French restaurant is suitable kosher, I would expect good French food. And I understood exactly that the lamb stew in beer with peppers was amazing, the lemon mouse was made with real lemon, not with a little of a package. . icy ephes beer at half price 1. 25 a bottle also the priced places on which I have left a bad critique, ta... Very original and querky! great value. wein on the expensive side at 20 pfu a bottle.
I have no bark with this hidden gem in the north street, eastbourne. au contraire! That's exactly what I have from did .delicious beef bourguignon, the perfect accompaniment to a cool English evening. this, after a generous all-you-can-eat series of appetizers, hot and cold, and a glass of the house red. I have lived in eastbourne for four years without being aware of this excellent essserei. recently recommended by a friend, monsieur roland, I must say, mr. ami!
That was my first visit to this restaurant. a completely different experience to most other restaurant experiences, but everything better for it. a few simple but very fresh and delicious buffet style starters. they help themselves and eat as much appetizer as they want. a main course from a short but quite authentic French menu, something like 10 dishes to choose from. followed by help even after home made ice and/or cheese and cookies. the decor is very simple and rustic, but comfortable. the service friendly. just eat, but delicious. I had a nasty pot for a lead that was very tasteful. drinks are on Thursday half price. So for two of us, three good courses plus a bottle of wine costs £30. I rated this place 5 stars because eating was very good, very plentiful and amazing worth. it will not be tasted for everyone, especially if they are looking for something modern or highly polished. the location is a bit 'back street' but somehow seems to work. if they want to experience this memory of the small little caffe, they stumbled in france, give it a walk. I thought it was great and I'm gonna go back.
As a French man, I would consider this to be the best french comfort food restaurant outside France. Great to see attentive french staff in a French restaurant in the UK. Highly recommended.
