Dosai Place - East Windsor

Upon inspecting the buffet spread, I noticed several items like paneer, avial, gulab jamun, butter naan, and other potentially dairy-containing dishes. It was evident that the server did not understand my request. The idly, masala dosa, vegetable pakora (which turned out to only be onions), and basmati rice I did have were satisfactory, but nothing stood out as exceptional. The server failed to check on me during my meal, and I had to signal him for assistance. Overall, my experience highlighted the restaurant's lack of vegan-friendly options, despite being a vegetarian establishment. I may consider revisiting outside of the lunch buffet, perhaps for a dosa night. However, I hope that the staff will be better equipped to communicate in English and understand dietary restrictions in the future.

Amazing and fresh. the rice pancakes are from this world. so friendly and attentive service also for a buffet restaurant. sooo good. This is my first time here, but surely won't be my last.

When I informed the owner that I was vegan, he kindly guided me through the buffet and pointed out the wonderful vegan options available.

This restaurant is great as everything on the menu is vegetarian. Vegan options are not specifically labeled, but the staff can advise if there are any dishes with milk or egg. Customers also have the convenience of ordering online.

I really enjoy the food at Dosai Place. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are always large families when we go, which is a testament to how yummy the food is. My favorite is the aloo gobi (sorry for the spelling) and my bf's favorite is the special dosa with nuts and spices. The food is rich with spices and heat, which is why we like it there so much.
