I love Japanese food. This place is one of authentic Japanese restaurants in Toronto. The cook and servers are Japanese. I tried Udon soup, it was very good. I plan to visit it again soon to try different food. View all feedback.
What weija zhou doesn't like about Tokyo Kitchen:
Surprised this place was rated so highly. Only thing positive about the meal was that there was variety, but none of the individual items were good on their own. Was very disappointed. Tempura was soggy, pork Katsu was dry on the inside. They also served miso soup with a spoon not very authentic. View all feedback.
It's a good place for causal dining. All foods are pretty fine. it's nice to go there for lunch and/or dinner.

Great on all accounts, pop-up feel, polite, fast, fresh. 4stars cause washroom is outside, around the corner, up the alley. For this experience actually a 6 star, ha!
Not the place you'd usually look for a restaurant below the Green P car park on Charles St. We live right by this place and often eat here or use it as a takeaway. Excellent Chicken Tatsuta, Chicken Teriyaki and brilliant Tempura Prawn
It is a small restaurant where you can get quality Japanese lunch if you work/ do shopping nearby. It is more like a fast food restaurant near Yonge and Bloor, but not a fancy place for dinner. The waitress is nice and polite. The food is good in quality but not impressive.
