I love love love this restaurant! If your looking for something different than your regular place but with home comfort food, this is the place. I got the classic oerhoyes bacon onion and sour cream soooo good , and the hubby took a walk on the wild side with the kimchi pierogi. They give you the choice of boiled or fried or half and half which is nice ! Cause I do like both! Definetly will return again. Hopefully so... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Loaded Pierogi:
Went to this location for lunch on July 27 after driving by it and deciding to stop in. Good selection of pierogi options including dessert. Restaurant was fairly spacious with outdoor seating. The only issue was the waitress liked to scream. When she spoke to customers, she screamed her questions and information that she provided. After taking our order, she proceeded to talk to her colleague at the bar in a screami... View all feedback.

An excellent restaurant serving a unique type of food. I am not a pierogi fan and only eat them on occasion when they are a group appetizer, however the twist this restaurant does with them is amazing. The pierogis are the base and then lots of amazing stuff is added to them. I had the surf and turf which had streak, lobster, crab, sour cream and caramelized onions over 8 pierogis. Besides the food the atmosphere and service was also excellent.
Two of my friends, my 21 month old daughter and I had decided to give this place a try...it looks cute from the outside....simple and modern. We ate outside which was nice except for the wasps that started to come out while we were eating...we toughed it out until our dinner was done and decided to go back in for our dessert....I didn't get his name but our waiter was friendly, patient (dealing with my indecisive friends and I!) and was accommodating with our table change and getting a high chair...now how about them pierogies you ask? I thought they were delicious ...I had the wild mushrooms and truffle with both boiled and fried pierogies...you can do half and half so you can try it both ways...I don't usually eat pierogies but when I do it is usually frozen from the grocery store so I can't say I'm an expert on pierogies...I was actually surprised how full I was on 8 pierogies...I was thinking that I needed a side but they don't serve any sides like salad or fries...I guess they don't mess when they say the pierogies are loaded lol. I also expected that the fillings would be inside the pierogies but it's actually on top of the pierogies and the potatoes is the filling...As for dessert, there was only one choice...it was fried pierogies stuffed with sweet cheese, topped with whip cream and chocolate crumbles and drizzled with a strawberry compote. It wasn't as good as I expected ...the fried pierogie kind of tasted stale or fried with old oil. I am glad that my friends and I shared it instead of getting one on my own...Overall it was a pleasant experience...I would go back to try other pierogie choices like the Loaded surf n turf...I didn't try any of the alcohol beverages but they looked good....I think the price for a pierogie dinner was reasonable....if you are in the area and want to try something new, I would say go for it! After you are done you can walk to Gerard Square mall if you have time to kill...it's not a fancy schmancy mall but you can get errands done if you need to ie grocery shopping etc...I like going to the winners and dollar store...My friends And I just parked at the mall and walked over...There is paid parking along Gerrard and Jones and if it's not too busy, you can find parking in front of the resto.

The only issue was the waitress liked to scream. When she spoke to customers, she screamed her questions and information that she provided. After taking our order, she proceeded to talk to her colleague at the bar in a screaming voice sharing personal details including employees' work schedules. This was a little disconcerting and I found it challenging to enjoy our lunch when it arrived. If you like pierogi, this is the place to visit if you are in the east end of Toronto. Street parking is your best option.
Went to this location more then once, first few times were good but the last time I went there with my wife was the worst. We both ordered the same dishes the buffalo chicken & when the food came to the table I noticed a small black dot on my plate, not a big deal but the waitress noticed a pink hair in my food as she was serving it to me & took both plates back to the kitchen. about 5 min. goes by & she returns with the two plates & there is the same small black dot on the plate & still another pink hair from the cook, I say from the cook because he had a pink pony tail, so basically they took the two plates of food back to kitchen didn't bother to give me a new plate or food just tried to remove the hair from the food let it sit there for a while & reserve it to me. NICE!!!! We sent to food back & left. Oh FYI the seats in this place are food stained & dirty not very appetizing!
