This BBQ is nothing short of a spiritual experience. I’m serious—when I took my first bite of the Cajun Deep-Fried Mac Cheese Chili, it felt like I was reliving my entire BBQ journey over the span of millennia. I recalled every BBQ moment from my 40 years, all culminating right here at Route 23 BBQ. The spicy notes of the chili paired with the crunch of the fried macaroni, combined with the creaminess of the cheese, created a symphony of flavors that likely caused a big bang somewhere in the multiverse. Don’t just walk—run! This dish was a special, so act quickly! And it gets even better: it was topped with brisket. In my humble opinion, Route 23 BBQ serves the best brisket and pulled pork in Michigan. Perhaps it’s the best in this universe. I haven’t ventured into other dimensions, and I’m not a scientist, so I can’t confirm that for sure.

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was amazingly friendly. Place was very cute and clean. Family oriented atmosphere . I recommend everyone to try it at least once. My husband and I will be going back for sure. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
