Maru Sushi&don

The worst tasting sushi I’ve had without it actually being rotten. I ordered the salmon Avo roll on Saturday. It tastes like waterlogged salmon and plain rice. No seasoning on the rice. No ginger provided to drown out the taste. The audacity to charge $2-$3 per piece and have it be yuk. Also the nigiri was looking dried out in the cabinet. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Horrible service and the overall atmosphere is not pleasant. Although the sushi is nice but over priced, the staff are not friendly. I will not be returning due to the staff service not the food. The lady saw my daughter take 2-3 soy sauce and then as I wanted more, she had the audacity to say “oh but your daughter already took, as if you take you need to pay”. From my experience in sushi, no one charges for soy sauce. That’s ridiculous and she had such a horrible rude attitude that I won’t be returning. The staff at St Pierre’s Ormiston are super lovely and I constantly go back.

Ordered a salmon sushi, when I closely look at it, avocado look like not the fresh one. And it is expensive tbh. I rather go st pierre's Cheap Price and value Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
