Afternoon Tea At Roganstown And Country Club

We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying a delightful afternoon tea. It was one of the best experiences we've had, with beautifully crafted pastries that were as light as clouds. The service was exceptional. However, one potential issue was that the incredibly comfortable chairs and sofas were a bit too soft and deep, making it challenging for those with mobility difficulties to get up from a seated position. This was especially true for us, as we had a hemiplegic individual and a 96-year-old in our group, so it posed a bit of a challenge. A few more upright seating options would greatly improve accessibility. Nonetheless, the staff was very friendly and helpful, making for a truly lovely afternoon.

I noticed that the last hotel I visited had fewer desserts but offered more sandwich options and was willing to provide additional items as needed. While the food here was excellent, the overall ambiance didn't compare to that of the hotel."

The service was outstanding. The only minor issue we encountered was that the very comfortable chairs and sofas were a bit too soft and deep for those with mobility challenges to get up from. Since we had both a hemiplegic individual and a 96-year-old with us, this made it slightly difficult. A few more upright chairs would make a significant difference. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very enjoyable afternoon.
