Delicious donuts at a great price. The donuts taste fresh (also late in the morning! and are not oily or greasy. At $1 per donut, they're better than any chain. Be sure to bring cash as they do not accept cards.
Definitely a hidden jewel in Syracuse! Not like the other bakeries in Syracuse, this is mostly dedicated to their donuts. Go there in the morning (before 11:00) before the donuts disappear!
You just have to make a special trip to Serres; the product is the real thing, my favorite is the “Powdered Jelly Stick.” The jelly is of perfect sweetness, consistency with a wealth of fruity taste and knee-deep powder over a crispy tender donut. Drove from Florida to see my daughter and eat some of the Serres wars.
Nicky makes the BEST donuts! I have been eating these since I was a kid.
