I’ve been here a few times and the food has never disappointed me, whether it’s been a makrel sandwich or meat platter, I would have no second thoughts to bring friends here. Great service and lovely surroundings, this is exactly what the town of Tutbury needs, a ‘go to’ place View all feedback.
What OrienteerfromUK doesn't like about Whyte's Coffee House:
We stopped in Tutbury for morning tea. This was actually our second choice our first choice was open but we felt they were overcharging for tea. Everything was OK, although there was a very limited choice of cakes, etc. So, unless calling in for lunch, we'd go elsewhere next time. View all feedback.
A group of us all dressed as Viking's as we were appearing at Tutbury Castle, aranged to have lunch at Whytes Sally, took our order in advance and we were able to all sit together at one long table. The food was delicious, very tasty we all had something different and the staff even accommodated one of our group who wanted something not normally on the menu. Service was great too, we were greeted with courtesy and welcoming smiles. We can all definitely add our voices to other epople that have recommended Whytes.
Excellent food and good service. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and catch up. We didn’t feel rushed in any way. I enjoyed my ham and cheese panini, with side salad. I had the coffee and walnut cake for dessert, and it was amazing
Lovely lunch good price friendly staff disable friendly loved it felt welcomed food hot coffee good worth the visit looks like used by many locals
Popped in with my Mum to have a cup of tea and ended up having a lovely panini each followed by cake. The cafe is clean with toilets available. The choice of savoury food is varied with many cakes on display at the counter to eat in or takeaway and they also sell bread. Overall a lovely visit and we will definitely be going back again.
This is a cute in a delightful village setting. We parked for free close by and ordered breakfast and drinks. The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was well presented. We chatted and ate and stayed to chat for some time ordering more drinks, it really was quite cool in there. When I went to the toilet it was absolutely freezing at the back of the shop where the toilets were and I would suggest to the establishment to buy some heaters to make their patronage more comfortable.
