My wife and I dropped in while staying at the Travelodge just 5 minutes down the road. We ordered two small breakfasts and a tea and coffee. All were cooked fresh and the breakfast arrived after a short wait. Two half slices of thick toasted bread, bacon, sausage, fried egg, a good helping of beans and tomatoes. What odm1234 doesn't like about Mac's Cafe:
when we order a big breakfast it said 3 sosages 3 bacon but when it got hear all i had was 1 sosage and half eaten toast i say only 1 star because the staff are dedful View all feedback.
I have ordered food from this restaurant several times and it has been consistently delicious. The breakfast options are particularly tasty and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
Excellent way to begin the day. A traditional establishment with friendly and cheerful staff. Enjoyed the best cup of tea in the area, without a doubt.
I stopped by Mac's on Saturday morning for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The small breakfast I ordered was delicious and served promptly by the incredibly friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This unpretentious place is famous. Mac’s Cafe, and previously called Jock’s Cafe, has been a part of Button life for decades. I have visited only twice, 2 decades apart, but this was entirely due to my circumstances (no, not detained at herMajesty’s pleasure! . The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. I had breakfast, on a Sunday. Couldn’t believe my luck that it was open. Food was as advertised and good value. If you visit because of this review I hope you have a pleasant experience.
Great staff, great tasty breakfast, setting you up for the day good value for money will be going. back next time i'm in Burton
