This place was quite recently renovated, adding a new modern touch. The bamboos inside were moved outside, along the stairs to the restaurant. They also have special function rooms that can be booked for any special event. I personally like the stir-fry dishes with rice. Though they may be a little more expensive, but they're absolutely tasty. The fried abalone mushroom is highly recommended. The other nice ones are the lotus root and bulb with snow peas, sweet and sour fish, yam and many others. Normally, during lunchtime, there would be some dishes for you to pick to add to the rice/noodles (which are usually cheaper). But this section of dishes are usually gone after lunchtime because (i guess) there are students there who eat there too. They offer free soup too (self-service). usually added are soy beans, dates, and some veggies (watercress i think). they also have steamboat available, and a selection of eggless cakes and cookies (some might have milk, so it's better to ask first).
This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and comfortable seating. The food is delicious!
