We enjoyed our meal at Flavours of India very much. Lacha the front of house waiter was very professional and extremely cordial. Our curries were delicious and the meal very reasonable. Lacha even arranged a ride back to our hotel for us. Highly recommend this restaurant! View all feedback.
What Madisen Streich doesn't like about Flavours of India:
I've travelled in India over 40 times and always enjoy a good Indian dinner. We ordered delivery from Flavours of India and were super excited. But, sadly, we were gravely disappointed.1. The menu lists out what is super spicy and what isn't using a little pepper icon. We only ordered the non-spicy dishes. They were so hot, we couldn't even eat them!2. The food was super greasy. I would even extraordinarily greasy. S... View all feedback.
Our favourite. We eat at this restaurant every weekThe food is amazingThe staff are beautifulThe beer is now cold All staff are Indian!
This place was recommended to me by my bnb host. But due diligence on Trip Advisor revealed a wide disparity in reviews. What? So I went but when I entered this vast cavernous place as its only customer on a Monday night i was nervous. What was I letting myself into? At the end of the meal it wasnt the best Indian Ive had, nor was it the worst. It was certainly home-cooked! My tandoor chicken didn't have the best quality chicken, but the spices were good on it. The first batch of naan was good, but the second batch was greasy. I liked the spicy yoghurt raita and cucumber/tomato salad though. A bit off putting apart from being the only customer in this vast space was the TV. It was on Hamish and Andy's True Stories. I laughed out loud a lot, which helped settle me into this vast space, along with the bubbly yelloglen. I paid $32 for my meal. Not the best quality food Ive had, but certainly ok homecooked food for the price.
Not the flashes place , but just focus on the food, you will enjoy this Indian dish ...if you you know Indian food , you be the judge, the tandoori chicken , and butter chicken....the best! Great staff. You will enjoy your dinning here !
I used to run a food inspection department for state government. Food was authentic but not to tasty. I would never to back when the best restaurant in Alice Springs is Indian and in the Doubletree

I would even extraordinarily greasy. So greasy, heartburn ensued immediately and we had to stop eating.3. We ordered a portion of basmati rice. It was barely enough rice for one person.
