While some found the limited menu and slow service disappointing, others raved about the delicious Italian dishes and friendly staff. The atmosphere was described as a bit loud but welcoming. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. The fresh mozzarella plate and cheesecake were standout menu items. Customers recommended saving room for dessert and praised the attentive service. Despite some mixed reviews, Annabella's offers a unique dining experience worth trying, especially for those looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy setting.
The plates were absolutely amazing. treated as family. we let billy get our meals for us. we can't wait to come back. I would give annabellas house of mozzarella a 12 of 10.
Very disappointed with this whole experience. Server could not have cared less about us. We had to ask for everything, water refills, to order, to pay, felt like we were the ones working not her. Food was completely forgettable and soooooaked in oil (plate was completely drenched afterwards) We went on a Friday night and the place was completely empty, no vibe. I have no idea how they're still in business. 0/10 would recommend
My original review was when they were just a (popular deli on the south side of Rt. 17. Then they up and moved to the north side of Rt.17 to a much bigger spot complete with indoor dining, a liquor license, a 'stage ' (for live music, above the bar , you name it. (When you first walk in Annabella 's is still an incredible Italian deli with various prepared foods, sauces, cold cuts, breads, desserts, etc. In Georgia (the country, not the state there 's a word shemomedjamo which roughly translates to overeating because the food is that damn good . (Which is exactly what happened the last time I was here with my kids... the sandwich I ordered was so addictive that I just couldn 't stop. It 's been a few years so the time was right to bring the entire family (including the in laws and see if any of us would fall prey to shemomedjamo once again. (Spoiler alert: I couldn 't control myself and devoured my entire pasta and salmon dish. Everyone else raved about their entrees as well. It might not be grammable but it 's honest food cooked and seasoned perfectly. Throughout the night the owner would swing by and he 's a real character. Not only cracking us up but near the end he caught wind we were there celebrating a birthday (mine! so he came to the table with a complimentary piece of cheesecake (complete with lit candle and 'HAPPY B DAY ' written on the plate in a delicious raspberry sauce and led with singing Happy Birthday! , too. He bragged that it 's the world 's best cheesecake and you know what? I don 't think he 's wrong. The chef (who came out once or twice as well as our waiter were also top notch from start to finish. Good sized portions of perfectly executed chow... I can 't complain about a single thing. A great (memorable night all around.
Over an hour from the time I was seated to get a dish of barely warm mussels and a glass of passable Pinot Grigio. Twenty minutes before my drink order taken, add another half hour before my food order was taken, and yet another twenty minutes before the disappointing Mussels to die for arrived at the table. Mussels to die for ? Hopefully not Mussels to die FROM based on the serving temperature. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews posted. Sorry to say I did not have the same experience.
Too crowded, owner prefers to sing than b a business man, needs more staff, parking awful. Never again Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
