Thought all the food I ordered was good. A lot of good Dominican restaurants by me but this is the only Puerto Rican one. Just wished they made more cuchifritos, like Bacalaitos and chicharrón(pork cracklings). View all feedback.
What Kenny R doesn't like about Raices Boricua:
2nd time ordering from here. Portion sizes not as big as from other spanish spots in the area. For the same price I got half the amount other places give me for the same exact order. Fried pork chops turned out to be just 1 chop that was more baked then fried. The pernil was good but not enough of it.

The food is not fresh. The Pernil Roast Pork was nasty. Taste rotten. So disappointed. I tossed it in the garbage

You want actual authentic Puerto Rican food this is the spot in Long Island for sure! It tastes like if I made it or my abuela it. Alcupurrias and mofongo was on point. Definitely my go to spot when I don't feel like cooking. Doordash get it straight this IS NOT MEXICAN!! This is BORICUA PUERTO RICAN FOOD.
Pernil and boiled yuca were delicious!!!!
