I cannot fault the choice of cakes here and my favourites are available most days: Yorkshire curd tart, toffee doughnut and vanilla slices. Definitely worth paying a little but extra for! Nice sizes for individual portion and hits the spot every time! View all feedback.

read moreThomas the Baker is a haven for those with a sweet tooth, offering delectable Yorkshire curd tarts, toffee doughnuts, and more. While the service can be hit or miss, the selection of cakes is unbeatable. The Black pudding sausage roll is a must-try, though the lack of chips is a downside. Customers rave about the bread, tea cakes, and corned beef rolls. The friendly staff and reasonable prices keep locals coming back for more. Although the sandwiches may not be diet-friendly, the quality of the products and the delicious baked treats make it worth the indulgence.
