The Travellers Rest

During a visit to my brother and sister-in-law, they introduced my wife and me to the Travellers Rest. The ambiance was inviting, and the food was outstanding. The chef even created a special mixed grill for me when certain items were unavailable. My wife and brother enjoyed pie, while my sister-in-law opted for a burger. All the dishes were delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. I would highly recommend dining at this restaurant.

The hosts at this restaurant are fantastic and have a loyal customer base. However, some local workers believe they should be running the pub instead of the current landlords. The food, prepared by the landlord who is also a chef, is consistently excellent, especially during the fine dining evenings.

The food at this restaurant is amazing and the atmosphere is lovely and friendly. It is a must-visit for dining out. The Sunday lunches are also incredibly delicious, some of the best I have ever had.

We went to this restaurant last night for a meal and had heard good reviews about the food, but it truly surpassed all expectations! The food was incredible, the service was top-notch, and the staff were extremely attentive and accommodating.

The restaurant had small portions and low-quality meat. After finishing my meal, I immediately ordered food from a delivery service as I was still hungry. Despite making a reservation a week in advance and informing them that 2 out of 8 guests required a gluten-free diet, there were very few options available. The only reasons this restaurant received two stars were because the vegetables were tasty, though the portions were small, and the decor was nice. Additionally, the cider was cold. If it wasn't for my mother's birthday, I would have expressed my dissatisfaction more openly. I do not plan on returning, which truly reflects my opinion of the establishment.
