We came back after a previous poor experience (see TripAdvisor). Ryan, pleasant as ever, had reserved a table for us in a quiet spot, as requested. Food was served in a timely manner. Whilst two portions of fish n chips were hot, my all day breakfast was, at best, lukewarm. Due to staff shortages, we weren't asked how things were until I'd nearly finished. Please avoid at all cost. Since it’s refurbishment the place is an absolute joke. Currently run by a “shift supervisor “ who really couldn’t organise a **** up in a brewery. Our previous attendance sore us leave after waiting 2hrs for our food and Saturday 6th May the pub had no ICE for drinks. It’s a Bank Holiday. Logistics is a foreign word to them. I called on the way to the theater for tee with a friend. had the meal deal of 2 for £7.50, we both had the fish and chips, it was a very generous portion and beautiful and hot very good price-performance ratio
We had the pleasure to try the new menu for free tonight! from start to finish was the meal nice, freshly cooked and delicious. the steak was perfectly boiled and the portions were huge! a massive thanks to the manager for great service and to the chefs who cooked our meals
Went last night and had a steak and my partner had a burger. Both meals were served piping hot and were lovely. The staff are friendly and we enjoy going here for a meal! Thank you for looking after us
We booked for new years day for breakfast as there was 18 of us the food was really good everyone enjoyed there breakfast very good value will be visiting for breakfast again
