Really nice staff friendly and have time to chat about menu's the place is bigger then you think when looking through the window the young woman who served us was very polite .not often get this tipe of service .. me and my wife definitely go there again View all feedback.
What Jennifer Adams doesn't like about The Angel:
My friend and I had lunch yesterday here. Food excellent but thoroughly spoilt by the loud talk by the lady behind the bar to another member of staff. I do not appreciate hearing about sick dogs, brain tumors and what to do with offal. Staff...training would benefit for these people. We won't be back. View all feedback.
It was often good, and it was really not disappointed. great meals and offers, high standard of food round.
Beautiful best fish and chips ever, go at least every month and the staff are nice thanks that they really enjoyed my visit today with my sister and friend.
Came here for lunch in the summer and had beautiful fish and chips, so when we were in the area on Sunday we decided to visit for lunch, so glad we did. We ordered Sunday lunch and it was fabulous, really tender roast beef, not slices of sandwich beef which we have had before at other places, and a homemade Yorkshire pudding, and it was only £9 each. It’s the place to go if you’re in Beverley.
The Angel has a good selection of beers including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. It's a large two room pub with a very attractive, nice big sheltered courtyard beer garden. It's a very food orientated pub no pool table or dart board. Nice friendly helpful staff.
