We have a caravan on site and we frequently eat at the club. Last week was our first visit this season and we were pleasantly surprised. My wife ordered the lasagna and I had the pie and chips, both were delicious and reasonably priced. View all feedback.
What Wilkiesss55 doesn't like about Fir Tree Caravan Park Bridlington:
We have a can on here and its great, the swimming pool and the Oscar club is excellent loads for the kids, shame about the food though in the club, really gone down, never used to be upto much anyway but its got worse hence why we don't eat in there only drink... View all feedback.
I can not complain at all, not only was the food delicious, yet the service we received was simultaneously quick and perfect. The bar staff are really nice when you get talking to them, one especially but I cannot remember his name unfortunately. He has black/brown hair but I digress, We visited on Saturday night and to say how busy it was, we was rather impressed with how the staff dealt with us. Would definitely recommend, 5 star and we shall return!

We have a static caravan on the Anchorage side, which is located across the road from the Fir Tree side. Originally, we were on the Fir Tree side with a touring caravan but after a year, we liked it so much that we decided to buy a static caravan for a more permanent holiday home. The Fir Tree side is fantastic, with a bar that has separate areas for children and adults, along with great children's entertainment on weekends. There are bars on both sides, TVs, and plenty of seating. There is also an arcade room, although some of the games have been out of order for a while and could use updating. The indoor pool on site is very nice, a decent size, and kept very clean with lifeguards always present, especially during busy times. Weekends are especially fun with "splash" sessions featuring inflatables. There is also a small outdoor play area for kids. The on-site shop sells everything from sweets to milk, bread, alcohol, food, toys, and more. The friendly ginger cat that hangs out in the shop is a bonus. The only downside is that the shop tends to run out of stock quickly and doesn't always restock promptly. We enjoyed our time on the Fir Tree side and now on the Anchorage side, which offers more privacy and spaciousness with designated parking spots. However, despite being told that the Wi-Fi would be stronger on the Anchorage side, it is often very poor, making it difficult to connect. The noise from the nearby brewery can be bothersome, although this is not the park's fault. The website advertised the holiday park as being a "stone's throw away" from Bridlington town centre, but it is actually a 45-minute walk at least. For those who have difficulty walking or do not have a car, relying on the hourly bus service will be necessary, with the nearest bus stop a 10-minute walk away. Flamborough and Bempton cliffs are just a short drive away and offer lovely day trip options. Overall, we have enjoyed our time here and have had a wonderful couple of years.
We visited this restaurant this year and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We don't understand why some people complain about the clubhouse. The bar staff are friendly and engaging, although the prices for drinks are a bit higher than the nearby pub. We dined in the bar most weekends and found the food to be delicious with generous portions (sometimes too large) and of good quality. The steak pie is especially fantastic. The Sunday lunch is a great deal with plenty of food. We don't understand the negative reviews – this place is perfect for families looking for a casual dining experience. We can't wait for the site to reopen in March next year.
This restaurant is disappointing. It is not good value for money. The focus is too much on making money, with little concern for customer experience. The family area of the restaurant is like a cheap canteen, with dirty tables and food on the floor. The staff are too busy chatting to clean up. There is nothing for teenage children to do, as they are not allowed in the adult section. The playground is outdated and potentially dangerous. I only gave it 1 star because I had to, but I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
