I went to The Duke of Cumberland last night with some friends for a meal. As I had already been out for lunch, I ordered a starter of chicken breast fillets . When this food arrived it was horrible. The chicken was a soft, mushy.concoction that tasted nothing like chicken God only knows what is was. Great place, great atmosphere. everything from sport, live music, child parties and weddings! recently the skylarks went to watch with a group of people, the staff was brilliant, eating delicious (the burger and various starter choices to get. brie taucher are fabulous we drank in the night with great music that barely well occupied and so many friendly people! will come back soon!

I usually receive a warm welcome when I bring my family to lunch and refreshments. today, this is completely the opposite, as I was met with unfriendly and ignorant employees. I waited ten minutes to talk to a bar member who asked me for my order! I informed the employee of my order that she was told by the manager to stop, to serve me and to give a bowl of water to a dog that was asked by a customer just a few minutes by the manager I was very patient and waited to be waited over ten minutes and was completely ignored by two other coworkersrubbish customer service possibly due to new peculiarity I went out friendly to take my £100
Staff are friendly downstairs at a party in the upstairs hall ever so slow serving people lots of waiting times and drinks short mesured price was ok could be better,, party was fab
Nice atmosphere. Need to have se food next time we visit
