It's amazing how many fish and chip shops in this country can't actually cook either properly and whenever i do visit one i am expecting it to be average at best because it's so prevalent. However i was delighted with the food i had from Brid Bay fish shop. It was the best fish and chip meal i have had for quite some time i have to say. Fish and chips cooked properly is all i ask and this is what i got here. Will 100... View all feedback.
What tracey b doesn't like about Brid Bay Fisheries:
I always come to this restaurant, but this time it wasn't great. The chips were cold and the fish was inedible, with soggy batter and a weird taste. It's a shame because I usually enjoy it here. I considered going in to say something, but the shop was busy and I didn't want it to get awkward. View all feedback.
We always go to this restaurant because we know the fish and chips are fantastic. We have never been disappointed! The portions are generous, the fish is tasty, the batter is crispy, and the chips are perfectly cooked. The only downside is that they only accept cash, but it's not a problem if you are aware of it beforehand. Also, at $8.90 for fish and chips, it's a great value compared to other places.
Beautiful Fish and Chips. As always the fish and chips are delicious. Lovely white fish with beautifully bubbly batter, with lovely cooked chip and red hot. Great staff who are cheerful and polite. All really good value. Highly recommended.
We are so glad that we have discovered this place. The two young men who work there are so friendly and cheerful that we would go there just to see them and chat to them. It is a bonus that the food is delicious too. We are fussy about the quality of our fish and chips but this ticks all the boxes. Cooked to order, it is always fresh, crispy and mouth wateringly delicious.

Incredible....I visited Bridlington to watch the sunrise and spend a day at the beach. I found this chip shop on TripAdvisor with great reviews, so I decided to try it out since fish and chips can be hit or miss by the coast. I was not let down - the fish was delicious and had a meaty texture, and the chips were fantastic. Perfect!
