Osaka Hibachi Sushi - East Peoria

This restaurant was so much fun! The food was delicious. I highly recommend sitting at the hibachi grill, it's like getting dinner and a show. Even though I was expecting the prices to be high, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. I had to take home a to-go box full of leftovers that will last me for days. I loved it!

I really enjoyed the Japanese Tea at this restaurant. One star for that. The staff was quick and the chef was friendly and funny. However, the overall price and experience were not worth it. The portion size was disappointing and I didn't like that the veggies and red meat were cooked together. They should also make sure to treat all customers with respect.

The interior of the restaurant was nice and the staff was very efficient. The sashimi tuna, salmon, and halibut were fresh and tasty, although one cut did contain a bone which was unexpected. The teriyaki shrimp was just okay, I wouldn't order it again as it seemed like the shrimp were boiled and then just coated in teriyaki sauce. The fried rice was a bit too hard, and the miso soup and salad were good.

Got here at noon, 12pm. Going off and on with meetings. They messed up the first order, they brought out a second which was supposed to be fried but came out doughy/raw. It?s sat pushed to the end of the table, it?s sat 3 hours now. No one has pickedit up, No one has came to ask about anything. They sat a check down after bringing the 2nd meal out. My $20 has sat there since.Still no service, no anything. It?s 4:30pm now.

5 star for live lunch n dinner show. We were served by an asian guy who cooked in front of us and he is too funny n entertaining. I didn't realize how time went by until the food was ready. Kind of a fun show with a good hot meal. Forentertainment i give 12/10, for food 8/10. You must experience this place!!
