Meadows Avenue Tap - East Peoria

Update: On March 24, 2024, I visited again, and it was a good experience overall. However, I would recommend grilling the vegetables longer, as they were still quite firm. The pancakes were amazing! July 2024: The new menu features a dark background with small text, which is incredibly difficult to read in the dim lighting.

WARNING: The menu has undergone a COMPLETE change as of July 22, 2024. I’ve never encountered a "market price" listed on a menu at any bar, but here it is for... wait for it... CHICKEN WINGS! Not seafood like lobster or king crab, and not even caviar. Seriously, market price for chicken wings??? This is what we get for voting thoughtlessly four years ago, and for the past 40 years in Illinois.

I had a new server during my visit and decided to order some wings. They took a little while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The salads, fried cauliflower, and wings were all outstanding. Just be patient, as many restaurants are currently facing challenges in hiring staff.

This place is awesome their food is great and there service is wonderful and there gaming is perfect

Called a week ahead to have my entire wedding party here for brunch the day after my wedding. Was told breakfast would be served until 12 when I made the reservation, upon arrival I was told they are cutting breakfast early for a party that was coming later in the day. I had a large party of 24 and considering it was the day after my wedding I would have appreciated a little better treatment. They had my contact information and never contacted me in advance to tell me this. I’ll say that I typically love this place and was so excited to celebrate here the day after my wedding, really disappointed.
